This site is a tribute to Alice White, who was born on February 25, 1945. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Alice Mae White, 76 of Ithaca went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 28, 2021. She passed away at home with her children by her side after battling cancer for 8 years.

She enjoyed playing games on her computer where she made many friends along the way. She was a foster parent for many years in Tompkins County.

Alice was born on February 25, 1945 in Buffalo, NY to the late Junior Marvin Doster and Elsie Lindsey; widow of Joseph White.

The mother of surviving children  Margaret Campbell, Tina (Roger) Armstrong, Sandra (Larry) Payne, Steven Campbell, Ashley (David) Williams, Lisa White and Nancy White. Step children Jenny Arrison, Joanna (Patrick) Shehu, Jackie (Carl) Aarne, Jeanne Lockwood.

Sister to Sandra McFarland, Diane (Terry) Nazer, and Dawn (Paul) Cowles, Wayne Doster, Robert Lindsey, and James Hari.

She is preceded in death by her parents , her husband Joseph, sister Calla Hari and her brother Henry Doster.Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Alice's request, there will be no calling hours. There will be a small service at His Tabernacle Ithaca. 609 West Clinton Street, Ithaca, NY 14850 on August 8th at 2pm.
